Disappointed right out of the box., April 24, 2012 By Bunkerhill "Bunker" (Atlanta) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Magellan RoadMate RV9165T-LM - 7-Inch GPS Navigator for RVers (Electronics) I just returned this GPS and was extremely disappointed. The very first trip and the unit failed me right out of the box. I had high hopes this would be the GPS for RVing, but it's not to be. I followed directions and fully charged the unit prior to using in the truck. After about 30 minutes, the GPS froze up and after waiting about 10 minutes, it wouldn't reset it's position with current position on the interstate. I turned the unit off thinking turning it back on would "reboot" the system, but the unit would not even turn on again. I tried everything I knew to get unit to start, but it never would restart.
I read every review I could get my hands on before ordering this Roadmate. I guess the bad reviews were accurate after all.
